State-of-the-art building
The NEMO building resembles a large green ship moored on top of a busy car tunnel, which no one will notice once inside.
The building was designed by the well known Italian architect Renzo Piano, whose work includes the design of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Kansai airport terminal off the coast of Osaka in Japan and the reconstruction and redevelopment of the Potsdammer Platz in Berlin.
