History
NEMO’s predecessors also had science and technology in their blood. The seed for what would eventually become NEMO was planted back in 1923 with the founding of the Labour Museum. In 1954, the name was changed to NINT, followed by newMetropolis in 1997. The name science center NEMO was introduced in 2000.
